Our History with Superstar Dogs
Our family lineage has a long history in breeding, dog training, and AKC conformation. Decades ago, our Terriers could be found performing for audiences in a show called “Jack Brancel and Pals” (our performing dogs are pictured on this page). Our terriers performed as regular entertainment in dinner theaters and on tour during the 1930’s. They were a high class and high flying act for sure!
We also have a long history of participating in AKC conformation. In fact, one of our Standard Schnauzers won a series of best in show titles (see picture above). Even then, our dogs received the best of care. They enjoyed steak after every AKC event and became known as pampered pooches!
Given our long history with superstar pups, we are very passionate about what we do. We believe that God gave us these amazing family members to bring love, joy, and laughter to families and even audiences everywhere! That’s why we believe in providing beautiful, healthy puppies for families who will love them and the breed as much as we do. In this pursuit, we invest in high grade medical technology to put our puppies on the best possible track. We use veterinary-quality incubators, AKC Reunite microchips, and Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) to start all of our puppies on the road to success.
Meeting Bo at the White House
When our immediate family was ready for a forever friend, we chose the Portuguese Water Dog because we were so impressed by the famous PWD that lived in the White House at the time (pictured here). Yes, we had the opportunity to meet Bo, who was friendly, intelligent, and loved being center stage. Best of all, he was hypoallergenic and completely odor free! This is when we first discovered the Portuguese Water Dog… and Bo showed us that PWDs are truly amazing dogs that form deep interpersonal connections with their owners. So we are now the proud owners of five Portuguese Water Dogs and our oldest daughter has been inspired to become a veterinarian. We are so grateful for our dogs and the joy that they bring us.
All of our PWD puppies are guaranteed to be 100% pure bred with championship lineage. Their parents have been genetically tested and found clear of all known genetic inconsistencies. Your puppy will be AKC registered and they will come with a microchip and a one year genetic health guarantee. We also practice selective breeding in order to produce exceptional temperaments along with traditional coat styles.
